The Randy Royer Memorial Scholarship

We are excited to announce that the Randy Royer Memorial Foundation is expanding our scholarship requirements to include Ephrata High School graduates or Ames Construction, Inc employees’ children who will be attending Penn College of Technology or Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology in any program of study related to the building/construction industry or the automotive industry. We are proud to encourage these students who will be joining industries that keep America rolling.
Randy Royer was raised in Akron and graduated from Ephrata High School. He continued his education at Penn State University earning an Associate’s Degree in Architectural Engineering Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Structural Design and Construction Engineering Technology. Randy started working for Ames Construction as a project manager and estimator immediately after college and remained there for 27 years until his sudden death in October 2016. Randy’s work was his passion and he was proud to be a part of the Ames Construction team.
